African Resources Watch International (AFREWATCH International) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization registered in Nevada and dedicated to promoting public education, transparency, ethical governance, environmental stewardship, and sustainable community development related to natural resource management in Africa and internationally.
Our work supports responsible and sustainable natural resource governance through educational research, public awareness initiatives, community outreach, training, and informed dialogue related to mining, energy, forestry, water resources, and environmental sustainability.
AFREWATCH International collaborates with nonprofit organizations, researchers, educators, civil society organizations, and community-based partners, including Afrewatch Congo in Africa, while remaining independently governed and operated in the United States.
Guided by evidence-based research and educational engagement, AFREWATCH International seeks to support informed public dialogue, civic awareness, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development affecting communities impacted by extractive industries and natural resource governance challenges.
